You are:

A team player who is also a maverick. You're cunning, tenacious and headstrong. You're knowledgeable about finance and hungry to make a name for yourself but don't care for schmoozing or name dropping. You believe things can be done differently and want an opportunity to wield your knowledge of finance so others can benefit as well.

The work:

This role is all about acclarity. We believe current financial structures around startup funding reinforce wealth inequality in America. We need to ensure that our product isn't treated like a cash cow. We're looking for an individual capable of crunching the numbers to help us achieve our financial objectives using both traditional and non-traditional financial methodologies. This role is tactical and clandestine and will require a global mindset. Success for this role will be gauged across several facets:

  • Ideologically aligning with being a change maker in the financial community and understanding the mental strength required to do so
  • Building out the financials for the business and run projections and analyses on different financial strategies to find the best fit
  • Research and develop new methods or inventive routes to finance by studying global cultural examples
  • Have a strong understanding of US financial regulation and know how to play with the rules

Here’s what you need:

  • Demonstrated experience working in finance, specifically around M&A and investment banking
  • Stock market maven with a track record of outpacing growth or previous experience consulting for small businesses
  • Sustained commitment to social organizations through volunteering, community activism or patronage
  • Degree in finance, accounting or related field required


• This is an unpaid position until we're able to secure funding. The business is currently bootstrapped.
